Wahhh pissed at stupid people doing stupid things on MSN.
The thing about statuses is to inform others about whether are you available for chat, whether you are doing work, whether you are at school but left the com on, etc...
ITS NOT A PERMANENT FIXTURE!
Lets have a simple lesson on MSN statuses.
Busy is used to indicate you doing work, pls dont come disturb and talk crap, dun send stupid links, yeah u kinda get it. Its like a DO NOT DISTURB sign u put on doors in hotel rooms. NO ONE IS FOREVER BUSY!!! (unless u are self masochistic and bury urself under photocopied past year papers) Busy =/= busy playing games -.-'''' Off your MSN if you are playing games, damnit.
Away status is used for BRB, AFK or simply, im at sch. But some people are ALWAYS AWAY. Being in view of your com or 1 meter away from your keyboard is NOT AWAY. This has been abused so much that people dun care and just spam nudge you while u are REALLY AWAY.
Appear Offline is the MOST PISSING STATUS OF ALL. WHY DO PEOPLE WANT TO APPEAR OFFLINE WHEN THEY HAVE A MSN MEETING!!! wtf. Last time i was waiting for someone to come online to do some work. In the end spent 3 hours surfing the web and doing other work AND HE DINT COME ONLINE.
COME ON, I CANT SEE YOU IN FRONT OF YOUR COM, your status is the only indication i get. And dun bullshit like "oh when you come online pls poke me. I will come online" THATS STUPID.
Lets not abuse MSN statuses.Use it properly to your advantage. Remember, when the abuse stops, the misunderstanding stops too.
